HOW IS THE PRINTING PRESS INVENTED

The printing press is one of the best inventions in India. This has changed a lot in India. It helped people to know more about history and today many people are studying better.

Just imagine India without a printing press for 1min.

.

It would be very difficult. Even for buying goods, reading, newspapers, posters, and textbooks, everything needs to get printed. Back in the Olden days, paper cost and books are very expensive. Only rich people have books and papers. Then a goldsmith named Johannes Gutenberg invented this.

Johannes Gutenberg invented the printing press in 1436. He got this idea after seeing two pictures.

1.

2.

After seeing these two things Johannes Gutenberg got an idea about why not print words like this with ink. Like grapes has a color, coins have a structure. He started working on it and finally invented it. This has made a lot of changes for generations. Many people started using them. After he invented it in 1436, people started using it in 1450. Previously, It used to take 3 years to print a book. To print, they used to use a frame with a set of groups of blocks.

Even, today India is using printing presses for newspapers, magazines, and others.

Happy Learning:)
