NATIONAL REGISTER OF CITIZEN
The final list of NRC assam will be out on August 31st. There are 4 millions of people who didn't register as a citizen. They migrated from bangladesh. It is observed that assamese speaking people reduced since 1991. Hindu population got decreased and muslim population got increased. This change happened only because of illegal migration of people from bangladesh.
Assam has most of the people rely on agriculture and manual labour. The landless people desire for land of their own and result in conflicts. Bangadeshis occupied lands with dangerous weapons. They started living in assam and work there. The native assamese fought against them. Many strikes, political instability in assam has taken place.
Government for india announced that people who entered the state until 1 jan 1966 will be regularised. The rest of them will be deported as per the international law. They will remove them from voters list and send them. This NRC is a documentary proof, which allows them to stay in assam. It is noticed that 41 lakh people removed from NRC. So, many sicide attempts has been reported and suffering from extreme mental tourture of being marked as a foreigner.
Assam government is planning to construct 10 more detention centres. Government has planned many ways to solve this problem of india vs foreigners. The NRC, which has 21 digits or a bar code can only help them to know the native of assam.
