CHIDAMBARAM’S INX CASE
The CBI officers arrested former finance minister Chidambaram for alleged corruption and money laundering, a day after Delhi high has rejected his application. CBI has brought all the evidence and arrested him but he managed to get anticipatory bail till Monday.
One day when CBI could not find Chidambaram at his residence to arrest. They called him for investigation within two hours but he did not go as he is busy with files in the supreme court. Later, he planned a surprise meeting at his party the next day. Then the CBI officers divided into two teams and one team waiting at the bungalow where the meeting takes place and the other team at the back door.
After the meeting, the CBI officers arrested and taken him to CBI headquarters but his supports on the way and started shouting slogans. His son who is also in a case also tried to stop.
Chidambaram's son Karthi Chidambaram who made illegal transactions with foreign countries. He has managed to get bail. Meanwhile, his father was sent to jail with non-warrant bail. Before going to jail he made a big drama before media saying that there is no FIR filed against me and some people spread wrong information about in INX media scam.
Even after sending him to jail there is someone who is still helping him to get bail and come out of jail. The money which is made from transactions is transferred to his granddaughter account. Finally, he got arrested on Monday.
