NO MORE “SPECIAL” IN JAMMU AND KASHMIR
Home minister Amit Shah announced the end of special status for Jammu and Kashmir. Now Article 370 and Article 35A is no longer in practice. These articles gave special status to Jammu and Kashmir. This special status consists of separate citizenship, ownership of the property and fundamental rights for their state.
The union government of India on August 5th has announced “no special status for Jammu and Kashmir”. This move was planned because many restrictions from political parties and it have its own constitution and own rules. The government does not want states parties to play a major role in politics. So, they passed the bill to New Delhi.
There are many privileges for Kashmir in this article 370. They have their own tricolour flag, citizenship and fundamental rights. No person from other states can buy properties or start a business in Jammu and Kashmir. This stopped Jammu and Kashmir for development.
This article 35 gave a permanent address for the state and special rights and privileges in public sector jobs. No government jobs are given to other state people. Their people only should get scholarships and other public aids and welfare.
Pakistan reacted to government's decision and said India occupied Jammu and Kashmir. As it is making attempts to do illegal practices with that state. This will help India for Pakistan based terrorism problem.
