Nehru, who was well known by kids for a rose on his dress. He loves kids and playing with them. I still remember my childhood days waiting for children’s day where we are allowed to come in colourful dresses and get a handful of chocolates in schooling. He is a well-known person in India for his freedom struggle and for his leadership as first Prime minister of India. So, as to know the biography of Jawaharlal Nehru and the literacy award winner Shashi Tharoor written this book named “Nehru: the invention of India”.

In this book, Shashi described his family members and also about his struggle for independence. He was educated at harrow and Cambridge but spend ten years in jail for his socialist convictions. He struggled for independence and also became the prime minister who is incorruptible and visionary.
This book describes his curiosity, his struggle for India.  The ill and best of today’s India is only because of him.
